We had a great time at Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar. In the museum at the visitor centre we saw some of the things that people would have used 5000 years ago.
The heather looked lovely and comfortable. Long ago people used it to line their stone beds.

I enjoyed coming on the trip to Skara brae with you. The guides at Skara Brae were very informative. Weren't the people who lived there clever! I also enjoyed our visit to the Ring of Brodgar and the game you played with the rangers, even if it did take some of you a while to decide if Mrs Pettet's class was the best in Orkney!
